APC CONDUCTS PEACEFUL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES PRIMARIES IN NSIT IBOM
The House of Representatives Primaries in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area was peaceful, free and fair on Saturday across the Ten Wards in the Area.
The exercise which witnessed a huge turnout of members of the All Progressives Congress in the Local Government was conducted in an atmosphere of unity and love as Hon . Paul Ekpo swept all the Wards in the outcome of the Direct Primaries.
Addressing the media, Hon. Eric Akpan, member representing Nsit Ibom State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eric Akpan described the exercise as transparent and the collective expression of the People of Nsit Ibom towards charting a continuous representation for the Federal Constituency.
He commended the People of Nsit Ibom State Constituency for being steadfast and reassured the support of the APC for other Candidates in the remaining Primaries.
“We are satisfied with the outcome of the House of Representatives Primaries in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area. We will also return all APC aspirants in the Senate, House of Assembly and Governorship . We are united towards the growth of our Local Government Area and Federal Constituency “, Hon. Eric Akpan stated.
The Executive Chairman, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Hon. Otto Aaron also commended the People of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
She described it as a true test of democracy as the People freely stood behind their choice of aspirants.
She assured that the Local Government Area remains a stronghold of the APC.
” This is the spirit of unity, the beauty of democracy. Across all ten Wards in Nsit Ibom, we have spoken with one voice and are grateful for the outcome. The exercise was peaceful and transparent” , Hon. Otto Aaron said.
Also, the Commissioner for Education, Prof Ubong Umoh appreciated the People of Nsit Ibom for their unanimous resolution at the direct Primaries.
” We have made a bold statement today. The vision of continuity is on course and Nsit Ibom Local Government Area is strategic to this vision and continuity” , Prof Ubong Umoh added.
