APC APPOINTS RETURNING OFFICERS FOR HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES PRIMARIES IN AKWA IBOM [SEE LIST]
The All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State has announced the appointment of Returning Officers for the forthcoming House of Representatives primary elections across the ten federal constituencies in the state.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Patrick Edeke.
According to the statement, the Returning Officers will oversee the conduct of the primary elections across the electoral wards in the affected federal constituencies.
The party urged aspirants, party faithful and other stakeholders to cooperate fully with the appointed officials to ensure a peaceful, transparent and credible exercise.
The APC reaffirmed its commitment to internal democracy and peaceful conduct throughout the primary election process in the state.
