Dudu Foundation announces empowerment scheme for youths, farmers

Dudu Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization has announced a scheme aimed at empowering youths and farmers with knowledge and grants to aid their craft and increase agricultural productivity in Akwa Ibom State.
Dudu Foundation “Youth Sensitization Meeting and Agricultural Empowerment Scheme” is billed to hold on September 4th, 2024 at D’Angelo Hotel, Uyo.
According to information made available by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Lady Edu Offiong, the event, themed “Strategies for Effective Leadership and Community Impact,” will be chaired by Sir Victor Antai, Executive Director Project (EDP), Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC.
Dr. Ndoneytin Mkpondien, a renowned expert in leadership and community development, is expected to deliver a keynote address, while Mr. Moffat Ekoriko will be a guest speaker during the event.
Lady Edu further said the reason for the NGO venturing into agricultural support for farmers is orchestrated to inspire and equip young leaders with the tools to increase food production and economic prosperity.
When asked on how the beneficiaries of the grant where chosen, the Executive Director said those who are beneficiaries are mainly chosen from nominations on the Facebook page of the organization.
