Christ Embassy Holds Free Medical and Eye Outreach in Etinan

Christ Embassy Auxano Group, in partnership with the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation, has conducted a free medical and eye outreach for residents of Etinan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

The outreach followed the church’s recently concluded crusade, Night of Blessings, which was held at Etinan Institute grounds and ministered by Pastor Frank Owokere, Zonal Pastor of Christ Embassy Nigeria South-South Zone 2, and Pastor Kings Udoidua, Group Pastor of Christ Embassy Auxano Group, NSSZ2. The crusade recorded over 2,000 new converts.

The medical exercise took place on Friday, August 29, at the church auditorium, 11 Akpan Nsek Street, off Etinan-Uyo Road.

Beneficiaries received free blood tests, eye checks, medications, and eyeglasses. In total, about 300 eyeglasses and several medications were distributed, while 13 people requiring surgery were scheduled for further treatment in two weeks.

Speaking after the exercise, Pastor Kings Udoidua expressed satisfaction with the outcome.

“We are grateful to God for the success of this outreach and for the opportunity to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of our people. The turnout showed that there are many in need of medical care, and we are glad the church was able to play its part,” he said.

He also appreciated the partners who supported the programme, praying that they continue to experience the love of God.

According to him, this is the “set time for the opening up of Etinan,” adding that the community will soon witness visible indices of development “by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Through the crusade and outreach, the church emphasized not only spiritual empowerment but also community service, reinforcing its mission of expressing the blessings of the gospel to open up the city.
