“There is no local government that I am not happy with. I’m proud of all of you because you’re doing well. Continue in that spirit of cooperation and healthy peer review so that development reaches every corner of our State,” the Governor said.
Governor Eno charged the Chairmen to sustain mutual respect and collaboration among themselves and with traditional rulers, adding that his administration remains committed to equitable development across all local government areas.
“As Local Government Chairmen, you are my eyes in your areas. Galvanize your people, build trust and confidence, and let them feel the impact of governance,” he urged.
Also speaking, the APC State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, congratulated the Chairmen on their one-year anniversary and praised their collective impact in deepening good governance at the grassroots.
On his part, the Director-General of the Umo Eno Campaign Organization, Ambassador Assam Assam (SAN), reminded the Chairmen of their moral obligation to remain loyal and steadfast to the Governor who made their emergence possible.
