AKISIEC declares 10 results, APC wins one
The Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) has so far received declared results from Ten local government areas in the just concluded local government elections.
According to a statement by the State Electoral Body, results received, shows that the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP won in Uyo, Oron, Ukananfun, Oruk Anam , Ikot Ekpene, Urue Offing/Uroko, Okobo, Nsit Ubium and Eket Local Government Areas, while the all Progressive Congress -APC won in Essien Udim Local Government.
The statement further noted that AKISIEC will continue to release more results as they come in, advising Members of the public not to believe any result not cleared by the commission.
