UMO ENO’S MOUTHPIECE REVEALS INSIGHTS INTO PROGRESS OF ARISE AGENDA
The Chief Press Secretary of Akwa Ibom Governor Mr. Ekerete Udoh, has delved more into the recent developments of Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda, highlighting the policies and initiatives geared towards the overall wellbeing of the Akwa Ibom people.
The CPS in a media briefing held in Akwa Ibom State Government house yesterday told journalists about Governor Eno’s benevolent gestures, such as converting the proposed N2bn loan scheme for market traders to grants, establishment of an unemployment portal, delivery unit for more efficient project management, of his agriculture, education, and security initiatives.
Mr. Udoh also cautioned against the activities of fifth columnists intent on discrediting the Governor’s good intentions through false publications and urged those involved to desist from such acts apparently referring to APC – PYF article calling on Senate President to address hunger in Akwa Ibom State.
The State media consultant, Hon. Aniekan Umanah, disclosed that the second phase of the free food distribution exercise had commenced, highlighting the newly adopted procedure involving the Bulk Purchase Agency as the primary provider of food to the vulnerable people.
NUJ Chairman, Comrade Amos Etuk, praised the CPS and his team for organizing the briefing and reaffirmed the media’s commitment to partnering with the government for the development of the State.
