



WEST ITAM STAKEHOLDERS COMMEND GOV ENO OVER DEVELOPMENT, PLEDGE CONTINUOUS SUPPORT
-Endorse Tinubu, Gov Eno, Senator Bassey, Ime Okon For Second Term
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in West Itam Ward 9, have commended the state governor, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, for the numerous developmental projects he is executing across the state, especially the ones situated in the ward.
In his opening remarks, the convener of the meeting and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Brand Management and Marketing, Mr. Raphael Edem, expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for what he described as impactful and people-oriented projects across the state and the ward.
Mr Edem noted that the administration has continued to demonstrate genuine commitment to grassroots development through the construction of internal roads in Ikot Obio Enang Itam and the Compassionate Home project delivered to a widow in Mbak Ikot Oku Itam.
He further disclosed that additional road projects have been planned for the ward, while also highlighting the ongoing construction of the Ibom Industrial Hub in the area as a landmark development capable of boosting economic growth and employment opportunities in the area.
According to him, the visible transformation across communities in West Itam Ward 9 is clear evidence that the area has benefited immensely from the Governor Umo Eno-led administration.
In his remarks, the APC Ward Chairman, Sir Fidelis Ekpe, applauded members for the impressive turnout and urged them to remain steadfast and united in supporting the party at all levels. He solicited support for the Governor and other candidates of the party in the oncoming election cycle.
The APC Chapter Chairman in Itu, Hon Archibong Bassey, who happened to stop by the venue of the meeting, expressed delight over the level of commitment and unity displayed by members of Ward 9, stating that the ward has consistently remained a shining example of loyalty and grassroots mobilization within the party structure.
The highpoint of the meeting was a motion moved by the Councilor representing West Itam Ward 9, Hon. Aniekan Charles, endorsing the return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Umo Eno, Aniekan Bassey, and Ime Okon for second terms in office.
The motion was seconded by the President of Itu Alliance For Umo Eno, Elder Akaninyene Sylvester, who reaffirmed the group’s commitment to sustaining support for the current leadership and ensuring victory for the party in future elections.
The stakeholders also unanimously declared their support for Engr. Emmanuel Udang as their preferred choice to represent Itu State Constituency in the House of Assembly.
The Stakeholders meeting was attended by all the ward executives of the party, the ward PA, Supervisory councillor and all the major stakeholders across the ward.
