
Etinan Council Boss Congratulates Prof. Akpan on Appointment as AKSU VC
The Executive Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon. Uko Friday Umoh, has extended warm congratulations to Professor OtoAbasi Akpan on his appointment as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU).
In a congratulatory message released on Tuesday, Hon. Umoh described the appointment as a “well-deserved recognition of Professor Akpan’s exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and unwavering commitment to the development of education in Akwa Ibom State.”
“Over the years, Professor Akpan has distinguished himself as a scholar, administrator, and visionary leader, earning respect both within and beyond academic circles,” the statement read. “This new role is not only a personal milestone but also a significant gain for Akwa Ibom State, as we look forward to greater strides in higher education under his guidance.”
